Ok, so The Mummy Returns...what is there to say? I think it was being tongue-in-cheek. I hope it was being tongue-in-cheek. Not that it matters...that bastard has pulled in enough money to rival the GNPs of some 1st world nations.
In other news: I finally met Betsy & Kam, as we shared in our movie-going experience. After the film, we went to Gordon Biersch for a nightcap. They were doing last call just as we got there - and some poor bastard should have had his last call much earlier. I'll elaborate: as we sat there talking, two fellas were walking out, one apparently supporting the other. Fella #2 stops right behind our table, and relieves himself of the contents of his stomach right there on the floor. Oh, what a pleasant experience that was. Fella #1 then escorted his friend out of the restaurant, where upon further viewing, it became apparent that Fella #2 had also relieved himself of the contents of his bladder - in his shorts. Well, I suppose he could have sat on a wet chair...but I doubt it.
Good god damn.
Well, this concludes tonight's broadcast. I must retire to bed soon. Supposed to be at work in 7.5 hrs. We'll see about that.
