I bought some CDs yesterday:
Dr. Dre - The Chronic remastered version
Rachid Taha - Made In Medina: Middle Eastern melodies on top of crazy beats
Medeski Martin & Wood - Combustication Remix EP: not for hippies
Squirrel Bait - Skag Heaven: 2nd (and last) record by the best band to come out of Louisville in the mid-80s. Until Slint, anyway. Features Brian McMahan & David Grubbs, I think while they were still in high school.
And I bought some CDs a few days before that:
764-Hero - Weekends Of Sound: I saw John Atkins at the Wallingford QFC yesterday.
Dan The Automator - A Much Better Tomorrow: More hot Kool Keith action.
