Hrm. Just heard a little blurb that Mumia's sentence was thrown out. He was still referred to as 'cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal' by the reporter.

I have no idea whether or not he's guilty. But I've read enough to believe that he deserves a new trial.

Horrifying, either way, how our system can drag on for twenty years, while deciding whether or not to kill a man. But you're right. I'm glad he's off death row. Most definitely.
