Oh the possibilities
I was thinking about all-star bands; supergroups if you will.
This could be the Indie-rawk Orchestra:
vox: Greg Dulli (The Afghan Whigs) & Kazu Makino (Blonde Redhead)
guitar (electric): Andy Cohen (Silkworm, Bush) & Jim O'Rourke (Gastr Del Sol, Sonic Youth)
guitar (acoustic): Ani DiFranco & Charles Kim (Pinetop 7, Boxhead Ensemble)
bass (electric): John McEntire (pick a band in Chicago - he's in it)
bass (upright): Avishai Cohen (Plunge)
drums: Andy Sells (FCS North)
alto sax: John Zorn (pick a band in New York - he's in it)
tenor sax: Skerik (pick a band in Seattle - you get the idea)
trumpet: Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers)
keys: John Medeski (Medeski Martin & Wood)
This is just one...I could think of several other combos that would be equally as schizophrenic.

no subject
I'd also put Steve Shelley from Sonic Youth next to Andy Sells on drums. However, the amazing drum talent shared there might rip a hole in the space-time continuum. That could be bad.
Steve Shelley
hrm...
