Well alllll-righty then...

Just got some (potentially) good news regarding a volunteer position I might be going for....if this pans out and I'm able to take it farther, all will be right in the world again. Hopefully I will be able to turn this into an opportunity to leave Corporate 4merikkka for good.

I'm not telling anyone what exactly this is until I know whether or not I get it. ;-)

Also, Motley Crue do an (unintentionally) hilarious version of "Helter Skelter"...lots of wheedley-wheedley guitar wankery. Probably not what Lennon and McCartney had in mind when they wrote it.

True, the Beatles rock out like true proto-rawkers on that track, but Snotley Stue add lots of now-cliched 80s flourishes to their rendition (i.e. string scrapes down the neck, whammy bar bends, balls-in-a-vice wailing, etc.).

All in all, it's one of the more entertaining covers of that song I've heard.
