Bob Denver, John Denver, and Jim Nabors walk into a bar...

It's cold in my apartment. Gee, what else is new. Our exhange server was still down when I left work. Stupid viruses. I guess Friday was a good day to not go to work, 'cuz 2 people that I work(ed) with got laid off. I think my job is safe, but only by virtue of the fact that I'm the only one there to do what I do. One of my co-workers compared it to an episode of Survivor - who's gonna get voted off next?

you have such killer taste in music.

that sea & cake record is the raddest.

C 'n' Cake? G 'n' R!

Ya know, it's funny...I've never been that big a Sea & Cake fan (surprising, considering I like most of the other bands associated with them). I saw Sam Prekop at the Breakroom a while back, and that was a pretty kick-ass show. But Two Gentlemen is pretty rad. Maybe it's the song titles [i.e. the cheech wizard meets baby ultraman in the cool blue cave (short stories about birds, trees and the sports life wherever you are)] etc.

sam prekop is funny. for such a popster, he sure doesn't smile much.

but yeah, the song titles say it all. it probably has something to do with that incestuous indie rock family in chicago.

*shudder*

I infected you with the Sea and Cake boogie down virus when we lived together @ The Monkey House, methinks.

But, thas' all good, cuz you spread yer Silkworm / Joel R.L. Phelps flu all over me. And if lovin' the Phelps is wrong, then I don' wanna be right-ah.
