Whadda day
Jan. 9th, 2001 11:30 pmI've been in a much better mood since I left work. I bought a new pair of jeans and a sweater and some socks after work.
Socks are expensive.
Today I also purchased a book entitled The Iranians: Persia, Islam and the Soul of a Nation. After talking to Brian and Damon (Brian mostly) about how the ancient Iranians were the ones who taught the Huns, Turks, and Mongols how to ride horses (a skill that later aided these groups in their successive movements across Central Asia into Europe in the Middle Ages), I've been on a bit of an Iranian history kick. So there.
I shall retire to bed soon.
(PS - I must also be on a Seattle rawk kick. See below.)
