Three cheers for modern technology

So they gave me a new computer here at work today. It actually has a working CD ROM. It was supposed to be faster, but it was actuall much slower. I had to defrag it, which took about 2 hours. Now it's running a little better. The also swiped my internet access, which will make LJing a little bit more difficult. Right now I am using my other computer here at work, the one you can only run one program on at a time, cuz the main one it's used for is such a memory hog. They're supposed to swap this one out too. We'll see. I might be back to the old days where I only update like once a month or something.

They're also remodeling the office next to us.

A truck and a car just collided and fell 30 feet into a construction pit in Belltown (Western Ave. & Clay St.). Amazon is laying off 800 Seattle-area employees. What a wild wacky day in the Emerald City.

I'm at home right now, jus' kickin' it. Need to clean. As I predicted, it didn't happen yesterday. Worked on some songs for a little bit. I'm rediscovering my drum machine and all the fun stuff you can do with it if you take the time to fuck around with the parameters. BONG! I made it go BONG!.
