Man I smashed it like an Idaho potato
May. 16th, 2001 07:42 pmWork: ....zzzzZZZZZzzzzZZzZZZZ....
After work: got ze hair cut I so desparately needed. Ran into Mark Freitas at Aurafice; we sat and chatted for a few. Grabbed some pizza at Hot Mama's. Stopped at Machiavelli to say hi to Suzette and grab a beverage. Then home.
Now: Going to go see The Mummy Returns with Betsy and Kam in about half an hour. They will be the 3rd & 4th LiveJournalers I've met this week; the 2nd & 3rd in the last 30 hours. Jinky!
I'm a little ticked...I bought Black Flag's Damaged and Bomb Records' Return Of The DJ Vol. 1 at this store in the U-District yesterday. Both CDs were relatively cheap ($7.99 a pop), but, much to my dismay when I went to play them this morning, they were both fuckin' scratched up. I guess that I assume that before a record shop buys a CD, they check to see if it's scratched...usually they won't buy it if it is, and if they do buy it, the'll tag the disc to let you know it's scratched. Well, this place didn't. The discs will probably play OK on my CD player at home, but my Discman is a piece of shit and freaks out anytime you try to play something with any scratches or defects. Screw you, Sony.
OK. Gotta pee. Umi says shine your light on the world.
