(no subject)
Jul. 3rd, 2007 12:58 pmI managed to get a night of restful and continuous sleep (thank you, melatonin). I'm still tired today, but minus the jags that filled the last two days.
Tomorrow is Independence Day. I could have volunteered to come in to work, but I was told that my services would not be needed. So I don't know what to do with myself tomorrow. Perhaps I'll cut my hair. Or work on my 'blog'. Or sit at the locks and watch people on boats.
What are y'all doing?

Fireworks are dangerous, kids.
Jul. 5th, 2006 11:56 amNo, nothing blew up in my hands yesterday, but a couple of fuses got the better of me, so now I have a small red welt on my right thumb and a nearly dime-size one on my left palm. It was worth it though.
Partied at
creativehead's aunt & uncle's crib in West Seattle. Well, not really "partied". More like "gorged myself". I think I had three beers over the course of about seven hours. I just ate the rest of the time. Pork, turkey, clams, mussels, salads, and a kajillion different kinds of desserts. I'd sum it up as gluttonous.
There were volleys of mortars and bottle rockets all up and down the beach. You could see the reflection of the Elliot Bay show on the clouds. Purdy.
Happy barfday Amerika!
