In other news: I'm bummed, because this morning I realized that one of my band's songs is a huge Afghan Whigs rip-off. Damn. Well, I guess if yer gonna rip off a band, might as well rip off a good band, eh? Although, if you rip off some bed, unknown band, then people might not know that you're ripping anyone off. Oh hell...
In better music news, I got to hear the finished, mixed version of the N'SYNC song for the Teen Feeding Frenzy CD, and it sounds damn good. Especially her singing. She transformed what was once an annoying teen pop love song into a sultry Sapphic come-on. All the thespian grrrls will be swooning.
My bass playin' ain't too shabby either.
And it moved. At least she thinks it did. Last night, she thought she felt it - or something - like electricity almost. She'll probably explain it better than me. My brain isn't at full speed yet.
