I just had a fab morning hanging out with the grrrl and him and her. First, breakfast at the famed 5 Spot, where much coffee was consumed and good conversation abounded. Then, after a brief stop at Seattle's prime-postcard-picture-taking spot, we zipped down to the International District for a visit to Uwajimaya, the pan-Asian Fred Meyer. The four of us spent a good deal of time trying to determine what ingredients many of the Japanese snack foods actually contained. I picked up three boxes of Pocky, one of which was called "Men's Pocky". The grrrl commented that the packaging looked as if it could be used to sell cigars, or condoms. Manly, indeed.

We are taking a brief respite from our adventures. We shall reconviene on Broadway at 1530 hrs.
