1. I recently related this story toallegedly: In the 7th grade I went on a class trip to Washington DC. While there I saw (from the safety of the tour bus) my first crack deal go down in front of Ford's Theater. I also was a co-wreath layer at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. To this day, I have no clue why they picked me to do it. I'm sure they didn't know I'd later turn into a pinko Commie.
2. When I was 15, I had a friend of mine pierce my left nipple in the 3rd floor boys bathroom of our high school. He used a stud like they use in the guns at the Piercing Pagoda at the mall, but sans gun - he just pushed it right through there. Afterward we descended into the lunch room and proceeded to freak everyone out.
3. I'm the youngest of 53 first cousins (57 if you count my siblings). On my mom's side. Damned Irish Catholics.
4. Since I was 19, I've recorded eleven albums and/or EPs (not all of which have seen the light of day, for better or worse), been on four compilations, and played live on the radio three times.
5. I've also worked for the same employer for eight of the last ten years.
6. I taught myself the Greek alphabet when I was young - like 10 or 11. Got it out of an astronomy book. I can't write too many of the characters, but I can still recite the whole thing.
