p0tat0esMy assistant just asked me to play a CD that she had just gotten. I looked at the CD and laughed - it was a KWJZ 98.9 Smooth Jazz sampler.
I laughed, then proceeded to deconstruct "smooth jazz" and how it bears almost no resemblance to quote-unquote real jazz - that it's glorified elevator music.
I pur on my Elliot Smith CD instead.
