RE: Texas

OK, just to clarify:

I love ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead

I've been trying to get people into them for years, but everyone seems to hate them around here (except [livejournal.com profile] sillyape). One of the guys in it is from the Seattle area though...he was in the Mukilteo Fairies...

Fine. Texas isn't all bad. They have some good bands. Like Pantera :)

(Update - had to get rid of that marquee. Thing looked fucking retarded.)

Not really...I have a sentimental feeling for the first one, but I like the 2nd one just fine...some of my favorite songs are on it (Madonna). Try and find a used copy if yr still iffy about it.

Ah, thank you, Trail is a damn good band, and more people need to like them. Actually, they got signed with some large-ish record company, which seems absolutely backasswards for a band like Trail. I even saw them on MTV2, which really threw me (of course, the MTV2 clip was them talking about how they they were making their new album to spread the word of Christ, and do God's work...). Hmm, very strange. Have you ever seen them live?

I saw them at the Crocodile Cafe maybe 2 years ago? Yeah, 2 years ago...most of the people I want to the show with didn't like them at all. I thought they were great, what with all the instrument switching and them walking out into the crowd to noisily serenade specific audience members...I thought they were a lot of fun. And loud. Really, really loud.
