I used to think that the idea of making a music video was pretty cool.

Now I think that idea sucks.

At least as far as making videos nowadays is concerned.

I guess making a video might still be kinda cool.

As long as I wasn't in it.

Yeah, I've always hated the idea of music videos. The beauty of music is that it can invoke different imagery, for different people. Once you do a video, the music essentially becomes a soundtrack for that video, and the imagery of imagination is lost.

Try thinking about the REM tune 'Losing my Religion' without thinking about that fucking video.
