I seem to recall Snoop Dogg using the term "bootylicious", as in "those rhymes you was kickin' were quite bootylicious". This does imply a negative connotation.
that's the instance i was talking about. since it was so popular, i thought it would've spread like that. i think there are other times when booty is used in a negative context (i'm sure of it almost) but i'm too tired to think of them. i can remember it being used as "booty-wack" in some instances.

Not that R&B groups' names are any worse than rock band names (i.e. KoRn, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, etc.)
Speaking of that, what's with the rampant substitution of the letter C with the letter K in the names of rap-metal bands?
