Thunder. Lightning. One could have canoed down 45th Street, and University Way was a river of mud and debris. Yikes.

No shit, dude. I was caught at that precise intersection at 9:00. Got splashed by passing dumbasses in automobiles accelerating rapidly through standing water. And I got my umbrella blown inside out, just like on TV. Still, it's nice to actually be able to take a walk in the rain again.
