Oh yeah...I've recently discovered Billy Wilder movies. The Apartment and Double Indemnity are both radtastic. You go watch them now.

Oh, it's fabulous! The extras are really interesting, too (old Tony Curtis = pure terror). I loved The Apartment but have yet to see Double Indemnity. I will add it to my queue post haste.

do you smoke? my smoking friends were hacking up a lung after they saw double indemnity. they would smoke when the characters smoked!

I think we took no less than 3 smoke brakes during said movie. I think Fred MacMurray went through at least two packs. Unfiltered even! Gah!

Yes! The Apartment is one of my favorite movies. I love Shirley MacLaine... She's also great in Irma La Douce, another Wilder film. And then there's Sunset Blvd... I have to see Double Indemnity.
