i for one think minimalism is pretty swell...not for every occasion, but listening to one chord drone on for a couple years every now and then...

oh, and as far as the punching John Cage comment, the actual length of the piece is not part of the composition, but the interpretation of the specific performance...but reading more than the headline is no fun is it?
