I've had the Cavalcade of Horrible Music in my head today: Roxette, Kenny G, the Bartell Drugs "Be Happy" jingle...this is fucking horrible.

Sorry duder!

Last night I had The Nelson Twins' "Love and Affection" in my head. How? Why?

Where'd that come from?

Same place as Roxette, I'd guess.

I think it was because last night on my ride home, my carpool friend and I were talking about dudes usually looking better with short hair. We were trying to think of exceptions. I mentioned Jason Lewis. But then just to freak my friend out, I said, "Nelson!" We busted a gut. But then that damn song got stuck in my head.

Oh my god...it's like you've picked up the bad radio that I am convinced is constantly playing in *my* head.

Might I suggest "Addicted to Love" by Robert Palmer?

*groan*

I think I have a R. Palmer's Greatest Hits cassette somewhere. I'll send it to you if I can find it.

-laughs-

As one of the few people still left on this planet who owns a tape player, I will actually listen to it. Alternating with the Jordy. ;p

(Tell Scott I want a KNS cover of "Addicted to Love.")

The Horror.
The Horror.

This is exactly why people should be less open-minded about listening to different types of music. I focus on metal and that which is metal derived, or can meet the criteria of simply being "rockin'." Because of this policy, it is literally impossible for me to get a tune my Michelle Branch, Kenny G or another of their ilk stuck in my head.

you should finish it off by listening to star 101.5 for like 3 hours, and realizing all the songs have the exact same structure, and its like that nickelback single.

OK, now that made me shudder.
