(no subject)

Lot's of rocking lately...we did a little 4-man acoustical jam at a house party in Shoreline last night. Originally, it was going to just be Dave, Sean, and I, but then Tim decided to show up and provide some drumming. We recorded the thing to 1/2" 2-track, so we'll have a document of it. Some of the songs translate well to the acoustic setting, and some...didn't. "Gray Sky" sounded like cat poop. I tried some sort of hackneyed bottleneck slide crap for the solo on that song. Total garbage. The rest of it was pretty cool tho'.

The party itself was neat-o. Ate some food, drank some beers, and came away with a cut on my forehead from wrestling with Sean's girlfriend (don't get excited - it wasn't anything dirrty).

The CD from the Croc show on Friday sounds pretty cool. Dave ran it through Acid to clean it up a little and boost the levels. "Suicide Mailbox" and "Break It Down" sound especially awsome. Yah.
