MEDINA, Ohio (Reuters) - Investigators on Monday examined the wreckage of an antique steam-powered tractor to determine why it blew up at a county fair, killing four and injuring dozens more with flying shrapnel and hot oil.

Gotta be careful at them county fairs. Maybe Billy Ray Cyrus will blow up next.

It's possible that there's more bold here than you intended, but I don't think so. It looks good to me.

Someday. Fried dough with tomato sauce, as it was meant to be.

Ah, no...I think that's what I intended to be bold...

State fairs make ya think of fried dough, eh?

Well, me too.

'Cept I would think "elephant ear", instead of your preferred term.

You know, it doesn't even really look like an elephant ear. Where did you crazy Westerners come up with that? Must be all those local-growing funky mushrooms, tainting your perspective.

You know, we could stop at a state fair on our way to the beach. I mean, if we still like each other, of course.

:)

I don't know that any state fairs will be happening in that time frame. Maybe. I dunno when thePuyallup Fair is.

Maybe Journey will be playing or something. If we're lucky.

And I guess that it's not too far a strtch to imagine some hippie tripped out of his gourd on cubenzis frying up some dough and deciding that it looked like an elephant's ear.

Thing is, it could have turned out as a flying furry juggerneeber, or a talking brown nose wig depending on how high he or she was. Be happy that it's only an elephant ear.

It's not a state fair, but... Jefferson County Fair, that weekend, in Port Townsend. Heh.

And did you say a talking brown nose wig? No more mushrooms for you, mister.

New Englanders are so much more practical than you drug-addled hippies out here. Fried. Dough. Simple, yet so descriptive.

Yeah, but you New Englanders are a bunch of chowdaheads. When did "R" start getting pronounced like "A"?

Simple, and pronounced correctly. That's the Great Northwest.

Drug addled hippies. Feh.

Yeah, yeah. Who says lack of accent's a good thing? It could just be a sign of lack of character...

(Dooahchestah sounds so much cooler pronounced like a local, no?)

You don't really have an accent...maybe yr not even really from there -

IMPOSTER!!!

Dorchester. Dooahchestah. Ehhh...

So what's up with Worchestershire coming out "Woostah"? Not only is it mispronounced, it's apparently become a verbal contraction as well. What gives?

Woostah is just so much nicer than the other. As Squim is much nicer than Sequim, ya hypocrite.

And talk to me about my mom on a foggy day. Then you'll hear the accent. Washington may have taken the accent out of me, but I still prefer birches to alders, so I haven't been completely Westernized, thank goodness.

Hey, our local names came from English speakers who couldn't handle Native names. Worchestershire came from English speakers who couldn't handle...er, English.

Fuck it. I'm just gonna learn Irish and stop speaking English altogether.

Or you could teach me more Hungarian.
