Deep in the heart of Tay-hass...

This job isn't giving me a better opinion of Texas.

My loathing of the Lone Star State has been well documented in this journal, and while I may have softened my rhetoric a bit, I remain unmoved by any appeals made in the defense of said state. I'm sure there are plenty of nice folks living around those parts. I just have yet to meet any.

I'm going to take this moment to list some things we can thank Texas for:

Er, well...I can't really think of anything. So instead, here's a list of things that are simply from Texas:

Oil
Longhorn cattle
The Geto Boys
SxSW
George Dubyuh
the fuckin' suck ass Texas Rangers
pollution
other stuff

my opinion of texas is pretty negative as well but most of the people i've met from there have been some of the nicest people i've met.

yo, cloak and dagger was filmed in texas.

Angkor Wat and later Skrew are from Texas, their existence alone redeems the entire state.
