757 Goes Down In Somerset County

PITTSBURGH -- A Boeing 757 passenger jet reportedly crashed in Somerset County, Pa., Tuesday morning.
Officials at Somerset County Airport confirm crash of large plane just north of the airport about 80 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.
Glen Cramer of Westmoreland County 911 told WTAE-TV that a call was received that reported that the plane was hijacked.
A call came from a man locked in the bathroom of United Flight 93, Newark to San Francisco.
The caller said that the plane was hijacked, Cramer said.
An explosion was then heard. The crash was reported 10 to 15 minutes later.
The jet went down at approximately 10 a.m. near Indian Lake in Buckstown, Somerset County. It is approximately eight miles from Jennerstown, near Route 30. Click here for a map of the area.
Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh International Airport is shut down as per a national FAA order.
