So this is ze new year

and it feels much the same as the last. It's cold as hell outside, and many of the roads are slick and icy. The bus driver stopped at the top of the hill and told all of us to get off and walk. I'm at work, thinking of a thousand other things I could be doing right now.

I have a show tonight at Studio Seven. I hope at least a few people will be willing to brave the treacherous roads to get to the club. And I hope our bass player made it back from Idaho...
