Apparently, Washington State grows the largest number of Concord grapes in the country, followed by New York, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Missouri1.
If that's the case, then how come I ain't never seen 'em in a grocery store until last week? I wasn't even sure they were a real type of grape, since the only thing I ever see the name associated with are artificially flavored grape things.
