Scott posted a demo version of our song "Polka Dots" on our MySpace page. It's not really mixed, and it lacks my guitar part and Joe's accordion, but you can at least get an idea of what it sounds like.
I'm glad you like! "Polkadots" will sound even more rad when it's all done. And "Pretty" is probably one of my favorite songs to play. It's just ferocious sounding (to me).
man that song is growing on me. there is some wierd lo-fi charm about that demo. it will be really cool to hear what happens in the studio...especially w/ a polka(dot) drum beat and accordian and geetar. i made a new pic for the song on mycrack, that features the all powerful glockenschpiel. :)
Just got to check out the KNS and the ASOW myspace stuff: I like it all, though I find that the ASOW is more to my taste - that's yer bassplaying there? Pretty fine. The drumming on Ready To Wait also grabs me.
Thanks! Actually, I man one of two guitars for ASOW, although I did have a brief stint as bassist a while back when we parted ways with whoever was playing bass at the time. (We're currently on bassist number 7, I believe.)
I find that ASOW tends to appeal to guitar fetishists a bit more than KNS does. It's more...dude-rock. I dunno. Girls don't generally like ASOW.
We don't have any immediate tour plans, though I hope to get going on some sort of excursion this coming year. It's more likely that KNS will do some touring somewhere/time though. It's a goddam logistical nightmare trying to get that shit together.
I LIKE P
