Tonight, I heeded the call to join together with many of my long lost LJ brethren to partake in some laser show goodness.

Went to the Pacific Science Center to check out Laser Radiohead (which, I later realized, was the only non-Pink Floyd laser show I've seen). I was reminded also that people under 21 need things to do on Friday nights, and one of the hot destinations is the laser show. I haven't been surrounded by that much youthful exuberance in many moons.

I was the first to arrive, but eventually I was joined by my old(er)-school peeps ([livejournal.com profile] bizetsy, [livejournal.com profile] ntropy, [livejournal.com profile] rockstarbob, [livejournal.com profile] lostone, [livejournal.com profile] imasage, & [livejournal.com profile] bohunk, and met for the first time [livejournal.com profile] pandachan, [livejournal.com profile] gopherbomb, [livejournal.com profile] daikusei, and Jeremy (?...can't remember name or LJ handle, as it's late and I'm ti-red).

We filed inside, found places to sit/lay down, and readied ourselves for the visual onslaught that was about to occur.

Well, it started...and it was...er...neat. Better than the three times I've seen The Wall or the two times I've seen Dark Side Of The Moon. The graphics were generally expressive, seemed to jive with the music pretty well, and employed a much broader pallette than I remember for other laser shows.

Jeez. I'm talking about this like it was high art or something.

Anyhoo, it was fun (except for those of us who had bare stinky feet placed by their heads, or had their hair stepped on, or got bonked on the head somehow). After the show, most of us ventured up to the Federal House for some hardcore pr0n (courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] ntropy and the Vivid Channel), some cider, and some general b.s.in' and whatnot.

When I left, Tasha was creating a Sim of me.

I'm scared.
