p0tat0esI really should be in bed. But I'm not. Why? Cuz I'm a fucking LJ junkie! That's why. I just had to post before I went to bed.
The meeting with Emily #1 did not happen tonight as planned...she went up to Bellingham to visit someone. We're all apparently going out on Saturday...which is the same day i'm supposed to be going out with Emily #2, and George & Emily (#3 I guess..this would be George's wife).
It just struck me that it would be funny if all three Emilys ended up in a room together. That may bring about the Apocalypse or some such catastrophic event. Bah. Who knows.
I ended up going out with Damon, his brother Ryan, some of Ryan's peeps, and Brian. We did the pool playing thing at Ballroom in Fremont. Ballroom is pretty cool...it's sort of like the Garage, but smaller and more...er, well, Fremont. I managed to get pretty faded, which might account for me thinking that it would be an OK idea to LJ instead of going straight to bed when I got home. Like I said, I'm a junkie. So sue me.
But now, I must retire. Work becons me in 6.5 hours.
Yawn.
I am full of love. As long as I don't think of loves lost.

Date: 2001-05-18 06:29 pm (UTC)I'm still digesting it...thusfar it's proving to be very good...possibly their best, in that as an album, it seems a lot more cohesive than their previous efforts. All the hard-n-angsty stuff we love about Tool is still there, but they seem to be exploring the - dare I say - world music - angle, with lots of exotic sounding percussion 'n' stuff. I'd say it's definitely worth buying, especially while it's on sale!
(Don't mind me - I'm went into CD reviewer guy mode there for a sec ;)
