You can't kill the night owl in me

I really should be in bed. But I'm not. Why? Cuz I'm a fucking LJ junkie! That's why. I just had to post before I went to bed.

The meeting with Emily #1 did not happen tonight as planned...she went up to Bellingham to visit someone. We're all apparently going out on Saturday...which is the same day i'm supposed to be going out with Emily #2, and George & Emily (#3 I guess..this would be George's wife).

It just struck me that it would be funny if all three Emilys ended up in a room together. That may bring about the Apocalypse or some such catastrophic event. Bah. Who knows.

I ended up going out with Damon, his brother Ryan, some of Ryan's peeps, and Brian. We did the pool playing thing at Ballroom in Fremont. Ballroom is pretty cool...it's sort of like the Garage, but smaller and more...er, well, Fremont. I managed to get pretty faded, which might account for me thinking that it would be an OK idea to LJ instead of going straight to bed when I got home. Like I said, I'm a junkie. So sue me.

But now, I must retire. Work becons me in 6.5 hours.

Yawn.

I am a happy little monkey now that the week is over. Bah.

Right before I left, one of my co-workers walked up to my desk and handed me an airplane bottle of vodka. "Get a good start on your weekend" she said.

Free booze is always a good way to start the weekend.
