App. the New York Times also recieved a 'letter' with a powdery substance this morning. just like NBC did ..weird..the employee tested positive after 2 weeks of symptoms...but the letter that nbc got with the powder tested negative
While it's certainly beginning to look like some kind of organized attempt, it's doubtful that it started overseas. It's more likely some home-grown Kaczynski wanna-be.
Not terribly effective, unless your goal is to kill mail room clerks. Anthrax can't be passed person to person, it requires direct exposure. The chances of any random letter actually reaching anyone outside of the mail room is remote.
the user "bluesiren" usually has timely news. she now says that entire blocks are being shut down and police are everywhere. other ed (edvaytah) and vivian both work really close to nbc studios. this is no good.
