The phone is because I decided that having a cell would be less of a hassle than having a new land line physically installed in the house I live in now.
The guitar amp is because I finally got rid of the old Eden bass cabinet that had been serving as a computer desk for the last few years, and the money from that is eventually going to pay for the new, far more useful, amplifier.
Yes. Five more days until the rock happens. Turns out that Mike from the band Ripley, who works at the shop where I got the amp, will be playing the slot right after us at the Block Party. It's nice to get to know the other bands, and have them not be dicks.
