Anyone else run a community? Do you have some sort of FAQ set up? I want to do one for guitargeek but I'm not quite sure how I should do it. Use the "memories" thing? Can you even do that on community journals?

I have a whole separate website set up for vaginapagina. The memories are really limited and probably aren't suited for FAQs. If it's short, you could just put it all on your profile page.

I actually looked at vagpag to see how you had it set up. I don't really have the gumption to set up a separate website. Plus there's already a guitargeek.com that I don't want any entanglements with.

Could you just do it on your profile page? The other community I run (with majorweather) is academics_anon and we have a super basic set-up over there that might suit you better. No formal FAQ, bt basic guidelines everyone must observe to participate in the community.

Well, as far as posting guidelines, that's all in the profile. Mainly, it's that certain questions keep popping up (i.e. "I'm just learning to play guitar. What kind of guitar should I get?" or some variation thereof).

It doesn't happen enough to be *super* annoying, but, ya know, guh.
