Heh, completely. Last time I quit, I had a headache for three fucking days before I caved. But I can do on a cup every other day or so, so I'm not a total addict.
As long as there's tea. No tea = blood in the streets.
You did, in fact, fill me with such caffeinated lust that I did stop for a latte at that small cafe by my house that you and I had coffee and sandwiches (read: samwiches) at while you were out here.
And I have to say, it was the right call. The coffee is pretty darned good!
Oh hush... You're gonna make me feel like an asshole. ;p
(Here. (http://www-csli.stanford.edu/~nunberg/nucular.html) Although this Wikipdea article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nucular) seems to cite sources which forgive the gaffe. I'll admit that I'm minorly horrified by that. This is like "WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO!?!??!?!!?" material. This is "YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW TO DIAGRAM THAT SENTENCE? YOU TAKE A PENCIL AND YOU JAM IT IN YOUR EYE!!" stuff. I'd love to bury the evidence, honestly, but I feel like I owe it to ya. ;p In all honestly, I'd love someone to convince me this is actually an acceptable morph of language. I am seriously stuffy about this sort of thing. ;p)
15 comments so far for that?? Just cause you like coffee?? What a fucking polarizing beverage. Shit, I like it, too but I ain't going around saying it's better than Jungle Juice. Shit.
The theory is thus: you write an entry full of deep thoughts and feelings and whatnot and no one comments. You write "I like peanut butter." and all of creation comes out of the woodwork to agree or disagree with you.
Hmm. I could hazard a guess. Quantity over quality; ie. It's easier to cultivate computer-type relationships if you have a good innocuous, touch-n-go comment every once in a while. Hows about that?
