While I'm still awake, I'll take this moment to mention that I downloaded the Holy Mountain soundtrack (apparently lifted directly from a VHS copy of the movie instead of the elusive LP, so it's not that great sounding). Several of the tracks sound eerily like tracks from Eyvind Kang's Theatre of Mineral NADES album - one of my all-time fave records. While I can't find any documentation of a connection between the two, I have to imagine that dude saw the movie at some point.

The Holy Mountain was a trip, but not as effective at noon over coffee as it would have been at night with, say, mescaline or something.
